TANYA PODUBIENKO

Tanya Podubienko (b. 1993, Odesa, Ukraine) is a photographer working with themes of corporeality, memory, and identity through visual provocation, irony, and excess.
Her practice merges color and grotesque to explore vulnerability, growing up, and critique of aesthetic norms. Tanya studied at the MYPH School of Conceptual Photography (courses by Sergey Melnitchenko and Maryna Brodovska, collage). She also holds a degree in garment construction, which informs her interest in form, surface, and the body as object. Tanya lives and works in Odesa.
