TANYA PODUBIENKO

Tanya Podubienko (b. 1993, Odesa, Ukraine) is a multidisciplinary artist primarily working with the medium of photography. Her practice explores corporeality, memory, and identity through assemblage, alternative techniques, and visual provocation. Transforming found objects and everyday things into new forms, she gives them another life and meaning. Her works examine the processes of growing up, vulnerability, and the subtle traces of the past inscribed in bodies and materials. With a background in garment construction, she brings a distinctive sensitivity to form, texture, and the body as an artistic medium. She studied at the MYPH School of Conceptual Photography. Tanya lives and works in Odesa.
